I am told by two lobbyists in Washington D.C. that Congress will extend the current EB-5 statute to December 18^th as part of the continuing resolution for the budget. This means we can continue to file I-526s and other applications under the current law until the 18^th unless the new EB-5 statute is enacted sooner.

The treatment of I-526s and other applications filed since September 30^th will depend on the final language of the new statute, which will not be certain for a few more days.
